Our History
Arts & Culture, United for Brown County
Arts & Culture Brown County (ACBC) was born from a shared vision to elevate the creative identity of our region.
In 2020, a group of arts leaders and organizations came together to form the Bay Area Arts & Culture Alliance (BAACA) — a collaborative network designed to strengthen arts and culture in Greater Green Bay.
Guided by findings from the SparkGGB! Cultural Assessment, Americans for the Arts’ AEP6 (Arts & Economic Prosperity) study, local community impact research, and direct contributions from creative sector stakeholders, this grassroots effort recognized the need for more visibility, coordination, and advocacy for the arts across our region. Through this shared momentum, BAACA evolved into what is now ACBC — a collective hub committed to serving the entire creative ecosystem of Brown County.
