About Owl Arts LLC
Karen Eckberg is a former academic librarian. After being laid off, she sat behind the potter’s wheel after a 20-year hiatus. What started as a hobby turned into the small business Owl Arts LLC in 2021 after completing the certificate in ceramics from NWTC. Owl Arts grew over the next 5 years to include small business partners throughout Wisconsin who sell her work, partnerships with nonprofits who commission her to create unique handmade pieces, private clients who hire Karen’s services to make custom pieces, and handbuilding classes for interested parties of all ages.
